Interactive Design

Our Interactive Design Session (IDS) gives you, the client, an opportunity for maximum input during the design phase. The result directly responds to your goals and avoids the need for redesign.

Design Dialog

Clients set the framework for the IDS by specifying space needs, aesthetic considerations, budget and time limitations. We then develop and refine the design concepts during a condensed series of meetings.

How it Works

A typical session takes place over 3 or 4 days. We meet twice a day for about 30 minutes, once in the morning and again in the late afternoon. Between the meetings, we illustrate concepts and alternatives for different aspects of the building: site plans, floor plans, building exterior, etc. At the next meeting, we present concepts and alternatives. This format enables us to respond quickly to your comments and suggestions.
